JOB SUMMARY:

Assists with verifying, posting and processing of payroll and accounting.

Schedule:

• 1.0FTE (40 hours)
• Mon-Fri
• 8:00am- 5:00pm

Compensation:

• $25.25/hr + DOE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Run payroll process.
2. Resolution of payroll issues with employees.
3. Review timecards and communicate changes.
4. Prepare payroll batch reports and other functions.
5. Make corrections, run preview reports, and post payroll.
6. Prepare/run reports as needed (including FTE’s, benefits and taxes)
7. Assist in preparation of financial reports including cost report and yearly budgets.
8. Assists in posting information to general ledger.
9. Assists in balancing ledgers.
10. Assists in balancing cash, reconciling bank accounts, daily deposits, and transferring of funds.
11. Performs related work as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required):

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Two years of payroll or accounting clerk experience including one year health care payroll or accounting experience.
3. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience.
4. Computer skills including Lawson, Kronos, Excel, and Word.
