JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and processing of all invoices for payment.

Schedule:

• 1.0 FTE (40 hours)
• Monday - Friday
• 8am-5pm

Compensation:

• $21.20/hr + DOE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for maintaining the accounts payable portion of the information system.
2. Ensure that all invoices are matched and approved for payment according to policy.
3. Responsible for the timely payment of all invoices.
4. Process all accounts payable checks and prepare for distribution.
5. File all invoices and documentation
6. Maintain all check registers for accounts payable.
7. Ensure all invoices are recorded in the correct month prior to closing.
8. Assist with producing 1099’s for all contract vendors.
9. Prepare all required forms for Federal and State agencies.
10. Reconcile vendor statements.
11. Assists in developing policy and procedures.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs related work as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required):

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
3. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience.
4. Computer skills including Excel and Word.
5. High attention to detail
6. Ability to work in high volume department with speed and accuracy
7. Ability to work with frequent interruptions
